Bill Jones

Bill's working years, before he started writing, were spent making television documentaries,  After joining Granada Television in 1982 he crafted films for ITV, BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Discovery, National Geographic and many others in a career spanning almost three decades.  When Bill began to ponder ideas for a new book, his thoughts turned to Scotland.  In the late 1960s he'd spent a week with his school cadet force at the Cultybraggan army camp near Comrie.  The place had always haunted him and when he dug back into its history, he discovered a horrifying secret from its days as a wartime POW camp.  Bill is married with two grown up children and lives in North Yorkshire.
